London 'billionaire row' homes on offer
SIX apartments near London's Hyde Park and a site on a street known as Billionaires Row were put up for sale after a legal dispute between Deutsche Bank and the family of Pakistan's former privatisation minister.
Deutsche Bank took control of the properties after winning a court fight against the Pakistani Khan family, including former minister Waqar Ahmed Khan, his father Gulzar Khan and companies they set up.
The group of properties is "one of London's most substantial prime residential portfolios," James Liddiment, associate director at Eddisons, said.
The site on Bishops Avenue has planning permission for a 46,000 sq ft home, according to the statement. The apartments are valued at £2.6m to £7.25m each. (Bloomberg)
