Last call - pub on the market for €1.25m as family retire from trade
This afternoon marks the closing date for offers on the Old Punch Bowl pub in Booterstown, Co Dublin, for which agents Lisney incorporating Morrissey's are quoting €1.25m.
The popular landmark is being sold by the O'Rorke family, who are retiring from the trade after 40 years. Part single- and part two-storey, the premises extend to 483 sq m, of which the ground floor comprises 318 sq m and includes the bar in three sections.
Upstairs, which has a separate entrance, extends to 165 sq m and accommodates a restaurant/function room along with a fully-fitted kitchen. Staff facilities are located at both levels.
As well as a ground-level enclosed patio beer garden, the first floor also has a smoking area.
It is located on a high-profile junction of Booterstown Avenue with the Rock Road.
