Last call for spacious Meath Castle homes

Dunboyne Castle is a large mixed development of one-bedroom apartments through to four-bedroom detached houses built adjacent to the four star Dunboyne Castle Hotel, which was started by Menolly Homes a number of years ago. The latest phase was put on the market in May this year where 52 of the 56 properties sold. There are currently four four-bedroom homes remaining with viewings this weekend to prospective buyers.

At 1,500 sq ft they come with a detached garage and are built in a contemporary style incorporating a kitchen/utility room, living room and separate dining or family room.

The master bedroom is ensuite and there is a family bathroom upstairs. All the houses have a south-facing aspect and off road parking, and a parking permit system for residents' visitors.

The prices of the current phase are €375,000 although the showhouse is also on sale priced at €420,000 to include furnishings from Home & Garden Interiors.

Dunboyne is located on the Meath/Kildare/Dublin border, and the development is on the Maynooth road, although a bypass has recently opened around the village, leading directly to the N3 and onwards to the M50.

The train station is around 10 minutes' walk from Dunboyne Castle with access to Connolly/Spencer Dock in 35 minutes. Dublin Bus also runs a service. In the other direction it is 35km from Navan on the motorway or via Dunshauglin to remain toll-free.

Fairyhouse racecourse is 9km along the Ratoath Road while the Phoenix Park is 15km to the East.

Viewing is from 2pm - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
