Jll secures new Grafton St tenant
JLL have sub-let 115 Grafton Street to Glenaran who will trade from the premises as The Aran Sweater Market. Grafton Street will be Glenaran's seventh location in Ireland but first store in the Dublin area. The company, which sells a wide range of high quality Irish jewellery, crystal, china and clothing will occupy a "prominent" location in the city centre directly opposite Trinity College.
AIB hold a long term lease of the property which until recently was occupied by Spar.
The surrounding area comprises numerous international retailers including American Apparel, Lush, Abercrombie & Fitch and H&M. Glenaran will pay €310,000 per annum to occupy approximately 3,900 sq ft of accommodation over three levels including 1,746 sq ft of retail space at ground floor level. JLL were quoting a rent of €250,000 per annum and reported strong interest from several domestic and international brands. Lisa McGrane and David Egan of JLL acted for AIB while Stephen McCarthy of Savills advised Glenaran.
