Ires Reit in €13.9m apartment deal

Ireland's biggest private landlord, Ires Reit, has paid close to €14m for 52 apartments at the Coast, in Baldoyle, Dublin 13.

The deal brings the overall Ires portfolio to 2,895 units. The figure includes 164 pre-purchase units, which are due for completion by 2021.

In a statement issued to the Irish Stock Exchange yesterday, the company confirmed its acquisition of the Coast units along with 61 car parking spaces for a total purchase price of €13,955,000.

The residential units acquired by Ires comprise a mix of houses, apartments and duplex units.

In total, 38 of the properties are already let while the remaining 14 residential units are available for immediate letting.

Located on the site of the former Baldoyle Racecourse, the Coast is situated within 500 metres of Clongriffin Dart station, 12km from Dublin city centre, and 11km from Dublin Airport.
