Three out of five Irish business owners have identified a reliable internet connection as being their main consideration when selecting their office space. That's the finding of a survey conducted by digital connectivity ratings specialists, WiredScore, in preparation for the official launch last night of its service to the Irish commercial real estate market.

While the company aims to grow its presence here significantly in the coming years, it has already managed to secure a number of Ireland's most important property companies as clients. These include: Green Reit; McGarrell Reilly Group; IPUT; U+I (formerly Development Securities and Cathedral Group); Castlepark; Clancourt; Johnny Ronan's Ronan Group Real Estate (RGRE); Hines; Blackstone and Hibernia Reit.

Commenting on the importance of WiredScore to their business, Hibernia Reit's director of development, Mark Pollard, said: "We are delighted that Hibernia's new development at 1 Windmill Lane is one of the first to achieve wired certification platinum, the highest possible rating.

"Our tenants can be confident of getting superior connectivity and technological infrastructure, assessed and confirmed by an independent third party".
