Cosmetics firm Inglot is to open a new store in Cork city centre in early June.
According to CBRE's Niamh Sheahan, the unit occupies a "prominent trading location on Oliver Plunkett Street and commands strong footfall due to its prime retail pitch adjoining Penney's".
This new Inglot store will bring the total number of nationwide stores to eight. The Irish Inglot business is owned and operated by the Swarbrigg family based in Mullingar, who first brought the global brand to the Irish marketplace in 2009.
The first Inglot store opened in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in 2009 and was followed by store openings in Dundrum Town Centre, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Jervis Shopping Centre, South Anne Street, Crescent Shopping Centre and Mahon Point Shopping Centre.
Geraldine Swarbrigg of Inglot Ireland said "We are delighted to be opening our second Cork store in the City Centre; our store will offer an extensive range of innovative products, shades, textures and high quality makeup, at affordable prices. The city store will also offer makeovers, personalised tutorials and master classes"
Ms Sheahan added that "the leading cosmetic brand will be an exciting addition to the city. This move by Inglot is another new positive story for Cork".
