Hotel RevPAR growing strongly

The latest STR data for Dublin's hotel market shows that RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) grew by 9.9pc in October.

Occupancy rates rose by 1.1 percentage points while average room rates were up by 8.5pc in the year to date. RevPAR in Dublin is up 7.7pc so far this year while occupancy and average daily rates have grown by 0.3pc and 7.3pc respectively.

RevPAR for hotels in regional Ireland grew by 10.6pc in October, with occupancies up 4.1pc and average room rates up 4.5pc in the year to date. RevPar outside Dublin is up 8.8pc this year while occupancy and average daily rates have risen by 2.1pc and 5.6pc each.
