A high-profile site in Dublin which is zoned for residential development has been brought to market with a guide price of over €3.5m.

The former Kenilworth Motors site is located in the highly sought after location of Harold’s Cross, around 3km south of St Stephen’s Green.

Savills Ireland, who are bringing the 0.54 acre development site to market, expect that it will attract considerable interest.

"The site is zoned for residential development and has an array of development opportunities, subject to planning permission," Colette Mulroy of Savills Ireland said.

"We expect strong interest, especially as such development opportunities so close to the city centre are a rare commodity."

Access to the site, which has a frontage of around 40m to Harold’s Cross Road, is via Harold's Cross Road and Laundry Lane.

An existing vacant building – the Kenilworth Motors car showroom facility – occupies a proportion of the land.

Recent developments in the area include the Archtree development under construction at Mount Tallant Avenue and the Cairn Homes scheme at Marianella.
