Joint owners Chartered Land, IPUT and Irish Life are delighted to announce that five new retailers have opened in the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Swords.
Vila, Kilkenny, Golden Discs & Fuschia have all signed new leases creating 45 new jobs in the centre.
The lettings will add to an already impressive fashion line up of Zara, H&M, River Island, Next, TK Maxx and Mango.
O2, who already have a store in the Pavilion, have extended into an adjoining unit which is itself a demonstration of how well the centre is performing for tenants.
Kilkenny have taken the former HMV store and will trade from circa 3,400 sq ft. The unit was let on a ten-year lease. Vila have taken the former Michael H unit also on ground floor which extends to 2,600 sq ft. The retailer has taken a ten-year lease. Vila now trade from nine stores in Ireland and are part of the well known Bestseller group.
Both Kilkenny and Vila will add further to the fashion offering within the scheme.
Footfall for year 2012 stood at over 11.9 million customers and footfall numbers continue to grow year on year.
The centre now appeals to fashion conscious consumers through the attraction of international brands such as Zara, H&M and Tommy Hilfiger and this has been the catalyst to the schemes success over the last number of years.
Paul Fahey Associate Director for Bannon acted for the landlord in respect of the above transactions.
Bannon & Savills are joint letting agents for the scheme.
