Agents Kelly Walsh sold 0.87 acres of development land at Balfe Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12, using BIDX1 property technology last week.

The property had originally been sale agreed at €1.3m using the private treaty sales process. That sale fell through, however, when the buyer sought to renegotiate the price, with conditions attached.

Kelly Walsh decided to use BIDX1 technology to conclude the sale, and secured €1.5m after 19 bids. BIDX1 is Ireland's first fully online property sales platform, allowing buyers to bid on property and exchange contracts from any location in the world, at any time, and using any device.
