The property company formerly known as Development Securities Plc has officially rebranded to U+I. The name change and rebrand marks the formal integration of Development Securities and Cathedral Group.

The two companies merged earlier this year.

U+I as it is now called, has a number of interests in Dublin, including the development of an office block on Burlington Road which is the biggest speculative development in the city at present.

In a statement, U+I said it will "combine the capabilities of both businesses, specialising in best-in-class mixed-use regeneration development to drive more consistent, high quality returns while creating great places for communities".

Commenting on the rebrand, U+I CEO Matthew Weiner said: "This is an important milestone for both businesses as we merge under the new U+I name.

"U+I is a company that will build on its heritage to deliver mixed-use regeneration projects that create long-term value and socio-economic growth.

U+I currently has eight commercial and residential opportunities in Dublin. Th3y include Percy Place, Robswall, Charlemont Clinic and Donnybrook House.
