Caffe Nero set for Irish expansion following flagship city opening
UK COFFEE shop chain Caffe Nero has arrived in Dublin. Its first Dublin store opened on St Patrick's Day – a 2000 sq ft store at Merrion Row, St Stephen's Green.
The group is aiming to open some 40 stores throughout the country.
"Typically we like to locate on high streets in buildings with character with an ideal floor area of 1,500 sq ft," said the firm.
In all there are 12 stores in the pipeline in both city centre and suburban locations in Dublin. Two stores are expected to open shortly. It is also known to be interested longer term in Cork, Galway, Waterford, Limerick and the top provincial towns.
