GOOGLE has moved once more to increase its massive footprint in the Dublin Docklands with a bid to acquire two office buildings from Kennedy Wilson.

Last night the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission confirmed Google had notified it of its proposal to acquire "sole control" of South Bank House and The Warehouse, beside Google's European HQ on Barrow Street, pictured.

The proposed deal comes just five months after its €300m purchase of the Bolands Quay scheme. More recently, Google agreed to rent 58,000 sq ft of space at billionaire businessman Denis O'Brien's office block at One Grand Canal Quay.
