Sales at BWG Foodservice, one of Ireland's largest food service businesses, will surpass €100m in the current year due to the company signing a number of new supply contracts.
The firm, which is part of the BWG Group, recorded sales growth of 15pc in 2016 following the completion of a €5m investment.
Under this programme, it has upgraded IT systems and expanded its infrastructure through warehousing developments.
Last year represented the sixth consecutive year of growth for BWG Foodservice.
Its fresh and chilled category delivered 26pc growth overall, reflecting growing demand for healthy food in the marketplace.
The company's frozen category also grew by over 20pc.
BWG Foodservice supplies the island of Ireland from three depots in Dublin, Cork and Galway, supported by 20 Value Centres across the country.
It works with over 20,000 retailers, caterers, hotels, clubs, restaurants, institutions, health boards, fast food outlets, and publicans.
In addition to a general increase in out-of-home eating, the business has benefited from uplift in tourism nationwide resulting in improved trade across the hospitality sector.
John Moane, managing director of BWG Wholesale said the company has secured major supply contracts totalling €29m with the HSE and catering groups Baxter Story, Gather & Gather and First Choice Purchasing.
