Businessman Ben Dunne says fears about Brexit are a "load of baloney" as politicians won't allow chaos to reign.

Mr Dunne (69) - whose company runs 10 gyms - said he gets on with business and "I don't spend time worrying about Brexit".

Ben Dunne Gyms had three outlets in the UK until he decided to exit the British market in 2017, but says the move had nothing to do with Brexit.

"I honestly don't think it will be as bad as is being made out. The news has broadcast possible food shortages and this is the 21st century, do they really expect we will come to a grinding halt? It beggars belief, it won't happen. It's a load of baloney," he said.

"Politicians work for the people and the people won't allow chaos, so the politicians should remember that."
