Insurer plumbs for post-Brexit continuity
BERMUDA-based Arch Capital said it plans to apply to the Central Bank here to expand its underwriting operations in Ireland.
Arch made the move to ensure continuity of its operations across the Eu and to minimise disruption for policyholders after Brexit.
The IDA said it was “another vote of confidence in Ireland”.
Arch provides insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance on a worldwide basis and has had an Irish reinsurance operation since 2008 and insurance operations here since 2012.
