Aramark supports Katie 2016 Olympic bid

ARAMARK Ireland has signed up Olympic gold medallist Katie Taylor as its new health and wellness ambassador.

The partnership was officially unveiled to 200 clients and guests at Aramark's event celebrating 'Contemporary Irish Food & Culture' at the Guinness Storehouse.

The announcement marks the beginning of a four-year partnership between Taylor and Aramark, which will see the Olympic champion work closely with the market leader in food services, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and positive food choices.

Taylor's involvement with Aramark will promote the company's commitment to health and wellness issues under their 'Right Track' programme and will see her support Aramark Ireland's activities across their 400 contracts nationwide.

Aramark will also work with her to support her own Rio 2016 Olympic campaign.

Company CEO Donal O'Brien said: "We are so proud of Katie's achievements and Aramark is delighted to be working with Katie to deliver our message of the importance of health and wellness issues across our business.

"We believe Katie's passion and dedication to a healthy lifestyle makes her the perfect ambassador for Aramark".
