Debbie Byrne has been appointed as managing director for the new An Post Retail division.
The unit is a stand-alone business charged with securing a successful future for the Post Office network.
It follows the strategic decision to split An Post into two units, An Post Mails & Parcels and An Post Retail.
Ms Byrne will report to group CEO David McRedmond. The DCU and INSEAD graduate previously held general management and marketing roles with Grand Metropolitan Europe, L'Oreal, Eircom and Life Style Sports.
