AIB celebrates the day you're mortgage-free
Most mortgage providers tend to focus on first-time buyers in their advertising campaigns. However, AIB has launched a new campaign that turns mortgage marketing on its head by highlighting those who have just made their last mortgage payment.
Called The Last Repayment, it was created by Rothco, with media by Starcom, and features real AIB customers who have just made their final instalment of their mortgage.
Tapping into the idea that the human brain is built to worry about surviving, people find it difficult to project themselves into their future and what it might feel like when the biggest financial commitment they make is no longer an issue. The campaign will run across TV and outdoor over the coming months.
