Airline unions said they are "unconvinced" by the Willie Walsh led bid for Aer Lingus after meeting the IAG chief executive for early morning negotiations today.
Union representative Liam Berney told reporters that a lot of questions remain unanswered following talks this morning, Bloomberg has reported.
Willie Walsh said the talks had been positive.
He said the approach for Aer Lingus is "friendly"
However, union officials said more talks may be necessary,.
Winning the support of workers at Aer Lingus could help swing reluctant Government TDs to row in behind the IAG approach.
