Two quizzed over journalist murder
Two men have been arrested over the murder of a journalist.
Eugene Moloney, in his mid-50s, died after being found with head injuries in Camden Street, Dublin, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardai from Kevin Street detained two suspects in the south of the city on Monday morning.
They are being questioned separately in city centre stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardai also renewed their appeal for witnesses who may have been in the Camden Street area between 3.45am and 4.30am, particularly around the pedestrian lights, and may have witnessed an incident.
Mr Moloney, originally from Belfast, began his career with The Irish News in the 1970s and then went on to work for the Irish Independent for 20 years.
