Two injured in Donegal motorcycle crash

It is the third collision involving motorcycles on Irish roads over the weekend

Gardai are appealing for witnesses after two people were injured in a serious motorcycle crash in Co Donegal.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon at Moness in Burt.

It was the third crash involving motorcycles on Irish roads over the weekend.

The pillion passenger on the bike, a woman aged 27, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital but she was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

Her injuries are believed to be serious.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man aged 33, was also taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
