Teen arrested in connection with ram-raid robbery on Dublin petrol station
A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with the investigation into a ram-raid robbery on a petrol filling station in north Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at the Maxol staion on Hearse Road in Donabate at around 1am.
A grey BMW car, which had been stolen earlier, was used to ram the shutters of the shop.
The raiders then entered and stole a quantity of cigarettes.
It is understood no money was taken in the robbery.
The scene was sealed off for a forensic examination by members of the garda technical bureau.
The young man arrested is currently in custody at Swords garda station.
