Retailers Lidl and Iceland have issued urgent food recall notices this weekend following the unspecified presence of allergens in some products.

Frozen food supermarket Iceland issued a notice today stating that Speedibake Takeaway 10 Garlic Slices are being recalled, as they contain milk.

However, the allergen is not correctly declared on the label.

“This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents,” a statement issued by Speedibake on the FSAI website reads.

A notice was issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) yesterday stating that six packs of Mister Choc Choco & Caramel six-pack bags are being recalled as some packs may contain Caramel Peanut Bars.

These bars contain peanuts, but the allergen is not specified on the packaging of the Mister Choc Choco & Caramel six-pack bag.
