Further protest planned against Gaza bombardment
The Irish Anti-War Movement has announced plans for another protest in Dublin this Saturday against the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
Almost 700 Palestinians are now thought to have died in the attack, which began on December 27th.
Hundreds of people attended protests throughout Ireland last week to highlight their outrage at the onslaught.
Meanwhile, the DUP has lodged an objection to the granting of permission for a protest in Belfast this weekend against the Israeli aggression.
The party says the application to the Parades Commission did not give the required period of notice and the organisers have made no attempt to negotiate with people who support Israel's military action.
