Four arrested over retail park shooting

A man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after the incident at the M1 retail park in Drogheda on February 26.

Four men have been arrested by gardai investigating a shooting incident at a retail park in Co Louth.

A man in his thirties was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after the incident at the M1 retail park in Drogheda on February 26.

Two men aged 23, a 27-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were arrested in connection with the incident on Monday morning.

They are currently detained at Drogheda and Dundalk garda stations under the Criminal Justice Act.

A number of premises were also searched in Drogheda on Monday morning in connection with the investigation.
