Hector Ó hEochagáin has started an online craze by posting a video of himself 'doing the Heff' online.

The 2FM presenter has started the hashtag #DoTheHeff by posting a video of himself imitating Rob Heffernan's walk from his gold medal win.

Irish users of social media have jumped aboard the trend, posting videos of themselves doing the walk on YouTube and tweeting them under the hashtag.

AA Roadwatch has even gotten in on the trend, posting a video of Aoife Carruther 'doing the heff'.

You can join in the fun by posting a video of yourself to YouTube with the title 'doing the Heff' or tweeting a video of yourself with the hashtag #DoTheHeff.
