Video: Teenagers throw kitten around room but are caught after posting video on Facebook

TWO girls, aged 15 and 16, filmed themselves throwing a kitten around a room and swinging it by its tail but caught after posting their video on Facebook.

In the video, the pair can be seen aggressively throwing the eight-week-old kitten at each other and laughing loudly at their home in Kent in England.

The kitten appears to be knocked out after hitting the ceiling.

However, the teenagers continue to hurl the pet across the room.

The two young women were fined approximately €110 and disqualified from keeping animals for a year after they were brought to court and admitted causing unnecessary suffering to a kitten..

RSPCA chief inspector Steve Dockery described the footage as “shocking”

The teenagers were caught after a member of the public spotted their video on Facebook and reported it to the police.

A third girl, aged 16, who is accused of filming the attack, pleaded not guilty and is due to appear for trial later in the year.
