Tigers, pythons found at house fire

Firefighters in the Philippines were shocked to find five tigers, three Indian star tortoises, two Burmese pythons and several cats and dogs when called to a house fire.

The caretaker and one of the owners have been arrested while two others remain at large. They face up to a year in jail and fines.

Athens is world's top flirting city

The home of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle is the "most flirtatious city" of the modern world, a new study has found.

Athens topped a "World Flirtation League," which ranked cities by the number of online flirtations initiated per month by the average user on online social networking site Badoo.com.

A Los Angeles judge says he is considering delaying the trial of the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death.

Judge Michael Pastor says he is extremely distressed by the lack of information that defence lawyers have given to prosecutors in advance of a trial due to begin March 24.

Daisy Lowe admits fancying women

Model Daisy Lowe has described herself as a "mild lesbian", revealing she has got the hots for Kelly Brook.

Lowe (22), who has been dating 'Doctor Who' star Matt Smith, told 'GQ' magazine that fellow model Brook was "such a hotty". She added: "I am, pretty much, a mild lesbian."

Voyeur jailed for film of couple's sex

A man who used his mobile to film a couple having sex through their bedroom window before showing it to friends has been jailed for 12 months.

Sean Bailey (27), of Robin Gardens, Waterlooville, Hampshire, was found guilty of a charge of voyeurism.

He was also placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years.

US hen lays an enormous egg

An American hen has provided its owner with an egg he calls "egg-normous". It measures 3.5 inches long and 6.5 inches around.

Nathan Batten from Iowa, intends to contact Guinness World Records to see if he has got a worthy entry.
