Swift crowned Woman of the Year

It's another honour for Taylor Swift. The country music superstar has been crowned 'Woman of the Year' by US 'Billboard' magazine.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter is the youngest to receive the award, which has gone to Beyonce, Reba McEntire and Fergie. She will be honoured at the Billboard Women in Music event in New York on December 2.
Jobs' death cert released to public
A copy of Steve Jobs' death certificate made public indicates that the Apple co-founder died of respiratory arrest resulting from pancreatic cancer that had spread to other organs.
Mr Jobs died at his home in Palo Alto, California, last Wednesday at 56.
Fancy dessert? It will cost €25,000
The world's most expensive dessert has been cooked up with an eye-watering price tag of £22,000 (€25,000).
Styled like a Faberge Easter egg, the chocolate pudding has broken all records thanks to its ingredients which include gold, champagne, caviar and a two-carat diamond. It was created by Marc Guibert, head chef at Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel in Cumbria in the UK.

Firefighters who allowed porn producers to use Los Angeles fire trucks in sex films have escaped discipline.
Fire chiefs ordered an investigation but because the incidents were more than two years ago city rules prevent them taking action. One fire truck was used for a film starring adult actress Charley Chase who was shown climbing on the vehicle.
