Suicide bomber kills 15 at wedding in Iraq
An Islamic State suicide bomber has killed at least 15 people and wounded more than a dozen more at a wedding in a village south of Baghdad.
Five suicide bombers took part in the attack in Ein Tamr, but the other four were killed by security forces, said an Iraqi security official.
He said they were members of IS, which has stepped up attacks on security forces and the country's Shiite majority in recent months as it has suffered a string of battlefield setbacks.
The IS-linked Aamaq news agency said four IS fighters carried out the attack, leaving dozens dead or wounded.
Ein Tamr is about 25 miles west of the Shiite holy city of Karbala.
