Soccer is no excuse for outdoor sex

ITALY'S courts rejected an appeal by a couple who said they should not have been convicted of public obscenity as they had sex outside while the rest of the town was inside.

The couple, then a 60-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, were caught while the town watched a World Cup match in 2006.

Man executed for rape and murder

TEXAS prison officials have executed a sex offender for the rape, robbery and murder of a woman abducted from a bus stop 11 years ago.

Ramon Torres Hernandez was one of three convicted in the killing of 37-year-old Rosa Maria Rosado. She was pulled into a car he was driving during a drive-by robbery.

FORMER Florida Governor Jeb Bush has written a fund-raising letter saying his son, George P Bush, "is considering" running for Texas Land Commissioner.

But Trey Newton, a political strategist for the younger Mr Bush, said "no firm decision has been made".

A TAXI driver in the UK left undercover council officers stunned when he tuned in to watch football on his phone as he drove them to a hotel.

Two plain-clothes officials from Charnwood Borough Council hailed the taxi as part of a licensing operation.They were stunned when he put his mobile on the dashboard and tuned in to watch the match.

Made from twisted strands of carbon yarn, the muscles can pull more than 100,000 times their own weight and have 200 times the lifting capacity of natural muscle.

Appeal over Bieber paparazzi ruling

LOS ANGELES prosecutors plan to appeal a ruling to dismiss anti-paparazzi charges filed against a photographer involved in a car chase of Justin Bieber.

Superior Court Judge Thomas Rubinson has dismissed two charges, saying the law aimed at stopping aggressive driving by paparazzi was overly broad.
