Seven men arrested in connection with the disappearance of 15-year-old girl
A seventh man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl.
Leicestershire Police said extensive inquiries had found no evidence to suggest that Ana Simeonova, who was last seen on March 25, had come to any harm.
But detectives say they are investigating the possibility of third party involvement in the disappearance of Ana, who moved to Leicester from Poland around a month ago.
Officers arrested the 53 year-old, who was taken into custody, last night.
Six other men aged 19, 26, 28, 31, 33 and 35 have already been arrested in connection with the inquiry. One of the men remains in custody but the other five have been released on police bail.
Inspector Simon Preston of Leicestershire Police's city area, said: "Ana has not been seen for more than a week now and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"There have been no sightings of Ana since 6.30pm on Tuesday March 25 and as time progresses concerns for her safety increase.
"Ana may have left home of her own accord but we're looking at the possibility that there may be third party involvement.
"That doesn't necessarily mean that we believe a crime has been committed or that she has come to harm. We're keeping an open mind and will follow any possible leads."
Ana is described as white, about 170cms (5'7") tall, of heavy build and with very long dark hair.
