Radiant Kate in no hurry to be queen

Looking relaxed and radiant, royal mum-to-be Kate Middleton shared a joke with well-wishers as she informed them they would be in for a long wait before she becomes queen.

It has been a busy week for Kate, who hasn't been letting her pregnancy slow her down.

Despite a late arrival in the town of Grimsby in the UK, Kate, whose baby bump was visible underneath her chocolate-coloured Hobbs coat, thanked well-wishers as they gave her flowers and gifts for her baby.

After one onlooker told her they were waiting for her to be queen, Kate joked: "You might be waiting a long time."

Kate is carrying out her engagements without husband William, who is working as an RAF search-and-rescue pilot in Wales.

In recent days the 31-year-old, who is due to give birth in July, was spotted pulling a wooden sledge along the slopes in the luxurious Arosa resort in the Swiss Alps.

Kate and Prince William returned from Switzerland at the weekend after attending the wedding of their friend polo player Mark Tomlinson to Olympic dressage gold medallist Laura Bechtolsheimer.
