Serial killer Ted Bundy's childhood home is haunted by ghosts - labourers claim
Notorious serial killer Ted Bundy's childhood home is haunted by evil spirits, a contractor has claimed.
Casey Clopton said he didn't realise that Bundy, who has confessed to killing 30 women, once lived in the Washington property that he was tasked with remodelling.
He told The News Tribune that things became so spooky at the four-bedroom house that Clopton's daughter (11) soon refused to go near it.
He said: "My daughter started crying. She said she felt weird, she didn't like it there."
Clopton added that workers had an eerie feeling and unexplained things would happen, such as phones suddenly dying, cupboard doors opening and he even claims he spotted the words "Help Me" written in a dusty message on a window.
He said: "I’m not one to believe a lot of this stuff, but this house made me a believer...
"Periodically, throughout the course of the job, we had weird things keep happening."
