Man shot and killed for 'not holding door open for woman at McDonalds'
A man who failed to hold the door open for a woman at a McDonalds restaurant has been shot and killed.
Mohammad Robinson (31) was reportedly shot in the carpark of the fast food outlet in Las Vegas by the woman's boyfriend.
According to police, Robinson was confronted by the man who took exception to his apparent lack of chivalry.
Robinson was rushed to University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds but died on Sunday morning.
"He was coming into McDonald's and some female was coming out. The door closed before she could get out and what happened is she said a few choice words to hime," Robinson's mother told KVVU news channel.
Robinson's girlfriend and the mother of three month old baby told KSNV News3LV that he was a "respectful man".
"He [had] the utmost respect for his elders. Yes ma'am - no sir. He's not confrontational even when we would argue he's walk away."
Robinson's 14-year-old daughter Miniya Sampson said her dad was killed for a "stupid reason".
"It doesn't make any sense why you would actually take someone's life over not opening a door."
Police have not yet arrested anyone in relation to the shooting.
