A kind-hearted father has been praised after handing out treats to passengers on a flight so his daughter wouldn’t miss trick-or-treating on Halloween.
He has been hailed as ‘father of the year’ on social media after enlisting the help of passengers on a Flight VX 357 from Boston to San Francisco.
The dad’s thoughtful act for his three-year-old daughter, Molly, has impressed thousands after flyer Stephanie Kahan tweeted the below photo.
She wrote: “OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat.
“This is so wild! I had big plans of catching up on sleep on this flight,” she added.
The father handed out ‘Happy Halloween’ posters to his fellow passengers asking them to help with his trick-or-treating mission.

“If you are willing, when my little doughnut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”
