Controversial pastor who said Orlando victims 'got what they deserved' arrested for molesting boy
A CONTROVERSIAL Pastor who said the victims of a mass shooting in a gay club in Orlando 'got what they deserved' has been arrested over molestation allegations.
Ken Adkins (65) is being held on charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation in the US state of Georgia.
The allegations stem from incidents alleged to have occurred in 2010.
Some of those incidents are alleged to have taken place at Adkin's church.
Adkin's defence attorney said his client was innocent of the charges, and "looks forward to his day in court and his good name being restored".
Following the June shooting in a gay club in Orlando that left 49 dead, he tweeted: "Been through so much with these Jacksonville homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve."
