Three Spanish journalists reportedly kidnapped in Syria

Three Spanish journalists are believed to have been kidnapped in Syria.

The three reporters are reported to have been captured in the town of Aleppo on July 11.

They have been named by Spanish news agency ABC as Antonio Pampliega, Jose Manuel Lopez and Angel Sastre.

The three reporters were working in the largest city of Syria, but have not been heard from in the past 10 days.

The identity of their kidnappers is not yet known.

Pampliega was recently involved in a TV production focused on Islamic extremism.
