A teenager from Gaza has amassed almost 30,000 followers overnight for her tweets, vines and photographs of the flares and bombs going off outside her Gazan home.
A couple of days ago Farak Baker (16) began her tweets with "Hello, I'm Farah Baker. I live in #Gaza and Hamas is \NOT using me as a human shield".
Last night she live- tweeted attacks that went on throughout the night, lighting up the street as "flares turned darkness into light".
She shared vine videos, photographs of bombs and flares and audio files of the drones throughout the night on the social media site, using the hashtags #GazaUnderAttack and #ICC4Israel.
She tweeted "I'm 16yrs old and have witnessed 3 wars, as I see, this is the hardest one". When her followers told her to leave the area she replied "trust me I cant move. They'll bomb me if I step the street".
The hashtags #GazaUnderAttack and #Gaza have provided a previously unheard of insight into the lives of Gazans affected by the conflict.
Farah tweeted "Whenever my 6 yrs old sis hear the rocket falling she covers her ears and shout while crying in order not to hear the bomb".
