Belfast Telegraph

It’s been nearly 20 years since the last episode of Father Ted was broadcast but its legacy continues to live on at home and abroad.

Irish teacher Hugo Rowsome spent four weeks in Haiti volunteering with a team of 13 Irish volunteers from the charity Haven to work with children over there.

During his time there he decided to teach them the greatest Irish entrant into the Eurovision that never was, ‘My Lovely Horse’ by The Devine Comedy.

In the video, the children can be heard singing out the famous lines, while Mr Rowsome enthusiastically dances in front of them.
