Indonesia volcano death toll now 304
The number of deaths caused by recent eruptions of Indonesia's most volatile volcano has risen to 304.
The National Disaster Management Agency said the toll climbed after some victims succumbed to severe burns and illnesses linked to the eruption. In addition, more bodies have been found in ash on the slopes of Mount Merapi. The agency said volcanic activity has now declined sharply and Merapi's current eruptions are not strong enough to endanger people.
Lohan loses out on Lovelace role
Lindsay Lohan won't be playing 1970s porn star Linda Lovelace in 'Inferno'. Writer-director Matthew Wilder says his production team is in negotiations with another actress and will make an announcement soon.
Some reports say the 24-year-old actress quit to focus on her court-ordered rehab for drug addiction; others say Wilder wanted her replaced. The 'Mean Girls' star is expected to be in rehab in southern California until at least January 3.
