The €128m EuroMillions Lottery jackpot won earlier this month has been claimed and paid out to a UK winner, Camelot said yesterday.
The winner, from the draw on Friday, October 8, is now deciding whether or not to go public with the windfall. The £113,019,926 (€128,344,986) jackpot is the biggest lottery prize to be paid out in the UK and the lucky ticket-holder now sits at the top of the UK's National Lottery Rich List.
Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby joy
Singer Beyonce Knowles and her rapper husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child, 'US Weekly' magazine reported yesterday. The 29-year-old was surprised to learn she was in her first trimester of the pregnancy. The singer had wanted to finish another album but was overjoyed with the news, the US magazine said.

Man gets €13.3m for time in prison
A jury has awarded $18.5m (€13.3m) to a New York City man who was exonerated four years ago after spending more than two decades in prison.
Alan Newton was cleared by DNA evidence in 2006. He had been sentenced in 1985 to up to 40 years in prison after being convicted of raping a woman in an abandoned building.
Corrie star to make an exit
Rovers Return landlady Beverley Callard is to leave Coronation Street next year, it was announced.
Callard, who took a five-month break in 2009 as a result of depression, said she was looking forward to "new challenges", while show bosses said they were working on an "exciting" exit storyline.
Gazza threatened with jail sentence
One-time World Cup star Paul Gascoigne was warned he could be jailed after he admitted driving while more than four times the legal limit. The 43-year-old former England footballer admitted to the offence at a short hearing at Newcastle Magistrates' Court.
After being told Gascoigne had 142mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when he was stopped in Jesmond, Newcastle, on October 8 at 2.45pm, District Judge Stephen Earl adjourned the case until next month for the preparation of probation reports.
