Horse sculptures gallop into NYC
It is all part of New York City events celebrating all things Scottish.
Two monumental sculptures of horses by Scottish artist Andy Scott will grace the city's Bryant Park for a month.
Titled The Kelpies, the two 15ft-high steel horse heads are scaled-down versions of a 100ft-tall installation he created for a new park in Falkirk, Scotland.
They are installed in Bryant Park and will remain until April 22.
Among the highlights of Tartan Week are the New York Tartan Day Parade along Sixth Avenue on April 5 and a lecture on Scottish Jews.
