Grenade thrown at Kosovan venue for Serbian prime minister's visit
A hand grenade has been hurled overnight at a sports hall in Kosovo that was to host a meeting with Serbia's visiting prime minister.
Police spokesman Besim Hoti sais an explosion was heard at 3am at a sports hall in Zubin Potok, 35 miles north of the capital Pristina.
He says it caused no injuries, only damaging a car.
Mr Hoti says the investigation is ongoing and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic's trip to Kosovo's Serb minority would continue.
Mr Vucic is seeking support ahead of Serbia's April 24 parliamentary election, where his Serbian Progressive Party's governing coalition is being challenged by rising support for right-wing parties.
Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008 but Serbs in Kosovo can still vote in the Serbian election.
