Four people are in hospital, one with severe burns, after a hot air balloon exploded and crash-landed over Southern California's wine country.
Riverside County Fire Department said the balloon was carrying five people when it went down in vineyards near Temecula and an explosion occurred.
One person was severely burned, two others had serious injuries, one had minor injuries and one person was unhurt.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident.
Hot air balloons often dot the sky on weekends in the crarh area, 60 miles north of San Diego.
