Fake 007 letter leaves Apple not stirred

A fake letter allegedly from former 007 legend Sean Connery to Steve Jobs refusing to promote Apple products was one of the top trends of Twitter this morning, outstripping even Wimbledon.

The letter was created as a part of an article on the iMac by Scoopertino, a website specialising in “unreal Apple news”.

In the letter, the fake 'Connery' wrote that he did not want to sell products for Apple.

"I have no interest in 'changing the world' as you suggest. You have nothing that I need or want. You are a computer salesman - I am … JAMES BOND!"
