They are the most famous set of flags to emerge from Euro 2016 and now they have been given pride of place in a local town.
Tom Fitzgibbon's pals Daniel Hegarty, Darren McNamara and Aaron Ryan made up a set of Irish tricolours with his face on it which read: "This is Tom. He isn't here cas [sic] he got a new gf."
Underneath it says: "Don't be like Tom.”
They made a second tricolour featuring his girlfriend Emma O'Leary's picture with the accompanying words: “There she is. Err...we would too.”
The hilarious banners became an internet sensation when Independent.ie carried pictures of them and an hilarious interview with pals Daniel, Darren and Aaron in Paris last week.

Now we can reveal that the trio have been reunited with Tom and his torment continues.
The flags are now hanging above McCarthy's bar in the centre of Buttevant, North Cork.
Daniel, who came up with the idea for the flags, explained: “He [Tom] was grand about it. Called us a few names. I think he was shocked to see them above the pub. They are still there on the Main Street by the way.
“Everyone here knows about it it's a great laugh. Tom is getting a lot of stick.”
The trio were only able to travel to France for the Ireland and Sweden game.
Tom previously revealed how he only learned of the flags after someone tagged him to the Independent.ie story on Facebook.
“Someone had tagged me and I couldn't believe it. With friends like that who needs enemies?”
Tom (27) disputed the claims that he bailed on his friends by not going to Euro 2016 in Paris.
He said: “The boys were just looking to take the p**s. I was never going to the Euros, I have no real interest in soccer, more of a rugby man.
“I haven't been talking to them yet but I'll have my revenge.”
Asked what he had in mind to get back at the trio, Tom fell short: “I haven't thought of what I am going to do yet but I'll think of something.”
He explained that he did indeed start seeing his girlfriend Emma from Cork city recently. “That's the only part of the story that is true.
“She was a bit taken aback at the start but she took it all in good spirits in the end.”
