Wellington-clad couple brave floodwaters to tie the knot at wet winter wedding
Flood waters have wreaked havoc on communities in Northern England, Scotland and Wales in recent days.
The British Met Office issued over 20 alerts this week, warning of conditions which constituted a "danger to life".
Wedding weather it most certainly wasn't, but plucky bride and groom, Lucy and Peter Nickson were determined that their big day should go ahead.

Clad in wellington boots the handsome couple were married in front of all their family and friends, all of whom were able to attend despite the adverse weather.
"At the moment we’re looking okay, so fingers crossed it all goes well.
"At the moment our reception venue is okay, we’ve had quite a few guests who are slightly panicked that the water is very close," she told the BBC.
She admitted that she hadn't gotten much sleep the night before as she feared her guests would caught up in travel disruption caused by the flooding.
"I spent most of the night checking the Environment Agency website to keep an eye on flood warnings," she said with a smile.
